I Became A Kinross Shareholder Today

Let's hope the phased production expansion goes as planned.  I saw one write up saying it was a great stock at $8.50 or lower.  Well I bought in at $6.51 and $6.54.  If this stock bounces to $11 or so I will consider it a victory.  

I am not sure what is going to make the gold price take off to $2500 or $3000.  We need some type of dollar crisis and if we could add a little political turmoil at the same time we could see a nice spike

It sure seems like we are gushing some cash here. and I looked at the balance sheet and it stated $4 billion in debt, but $1 billion in cash, and another $1 billion in liquid investments.  Maybe I have  poor memory, but I will look at the numbers again tonight.

Today's Low thus far is $8.01.   That is CAD.  If you bought today around $6.50 ish maybe it was USD???

I am a US shareholder.  Let's all hope gold can keep its footing in this $1750 plus range.  I keep hearing about $3000 gold. but where is it?

i always laugh when people think gold is going to some astronomical price. i am too old to forget, but i remember in the 80s, the supreme court had a case against barrick for manipulation of the gold price. and they'r lawyers said it was under the mandate of the fed who had told them to do so. if anything, i see commodities going down inspite of all the debt. people forget

Only way for gold to skyrocket is if the power-that-be are dethroned from their position of power.  Which is the financial system.
