RE:RE:RE:RE:Fuelbossu wrote: Fuel needed at Detour is a big factor:
Trucking to bring ore to the crusher;
-34 X 795F Caterpillar 300 tons Capacity 3400 HP
-5 hydraulic shovels
Not long ago fuel cost was estimated at $ 25/oz
may be now at a cost of $ 35 /oz
At Macassa they are using electric equipment at the bottom to the shaft so fuel is not a big issue
AISC for the Q1 2020 will be an interesting ''information''and I woud not be surprise to see an average of $ 790 /oz
======================================The average AISC could be lower based on
Detour AISC guidance at $ 1100 /oz
and KL before the acquisition and the AISC in 2019 was $ 564 /oz
To summarize:
Based on the Q1 2020 KL has produced 330 000 oz
Production at Detour 91 000 x $ 1100 /oz=100 M
Production former KL 239 000x $ 564/oz=135 M
Total..............................AISC...................$ 235 M
On a per ounce basis.......................330 000 Oz
the average AISC could be as low as $ 712 /oz
after the Detour acquisition and 600 000
more ounces to what it was budgeted before.
