About Detour Some notes on this operation:
In a matter of months we will see a production increase at this location.
-
- Year-end ore stockpile of 4.5 million tonnes grading 0.60 gram per tonne
- reserves are specify at about 1,0gr/ton
- production in 2018 was an average of 56 594 t/d an a grade of1,09 gr/ton
- production in 2019 was an average 60 370 t/d and the average grade was 0,92 gr/ton
- production in the Q3 2020 was an average of 64108 t/d and the average grade was 0,81 gr/ton
- The throughtput in the Q3 was the best ever
In the near futur reserves at 0,60 gr/t are going to be processed and most probably grade/ton will be at the 2018 / 2019 level and at a minimum grade of 0,90 gr/ton
Should that be the case production per quarter will be 152 000 oz/quarter and an annual production of 608 000 oz/year.
I have not been looking at the news release but remember that in the last (?) CC a possible increase throughput at 80 000 t/day was mentionned.
So if this is the case, Detour could see it's production increase 25 % for a total of 760 000 oz
The drilling actually in progress could see an important increase in reserves .
Most probably this is what Tony has in mind and he may give some ''clues''on this operation pretty soon.
