It makes sense, if the FED is basically waiting for the government to proceed to with fiscal stimulus, which still currently stalled/being debated, rather than stepping up QE. In the meantime, stronger USD, equals weaker gold demand.

just consider these little bumps in the longer term road as "patience" training tools. After all, things are looking far, far brighter in this space, than they did earlier this year. And I recall when gold was around $260 in 2000, the prospects for the PMs were not too shiny. I can recall a discussion with a coworker at that time, who was sold on it's role as a "barbarous relic ...more
