am very surprised at the weakness...the gold market is trying to fill the gap but the mining shares are lingering....hmmm

I suspect that the majority of seller victims in yesterday's opening avalanche were probably shares which were set with stop losses attached to them.  Of course, with the bids falling off the cliff right from the pre-opening, all those stop loss orders automatically became market sells.

yeah, a bit surprising, considering they shook out a lot on yesterday's "off the cliff" opening (thanks to yesterday's somewhat suspicious massive attack on the PMs), followed by the slow but steady recapture of the lost KNT ground throughout the balance of that day. Even more so, considering the (almost certain to be positive) earnings report scheduled for next monday.  ...more
