If so, would it be more likely that that wouldn't happen until after k92 meets it's 300k oz production?

As it stands now KNT is only a possible prospect; acquisition dynamics dictate that you buy for the potential upside (and take a risk of proving it) and pay a fair price for existing proven resource. While true that company claims possible 10 million oz but that is at laughable 0.6g/t so it is not that attractive. Exiting high grade ore gives them very low cost production but again that is only ...more

The majors like big, open pit mines with multidecade lifespans.  Most majors will not look at a gold property which produces less than 500,000 ozs/year. A small, underground mining operation like K92 is best left to K92.

Thanks for the insights, cyber37 and retiredgeo.. My thoughts were roughly the same about it being more likely that K92 stays their own for the foreseeable future. I'm hoping they can hit their 300k oz target sooner rather than later...
