Interesting how things goI was over at a Janet ladies place, a neighbour and then a knock at the door. It was a Don guy whose house burnt down in January. Long story short he has a land patent on his property, is under common law and has been for twenty years. Quite fascinating for me as he actually lives it. Drives without a license, has interesting stories of court victories and hands off approaches by authorities. He bought another place but I am considering buying his property if the land status is transferable to me. I was going to do my acreage to get land under my feet but buying his would be too convenient. Land under your feet greatly enhances ones status in such matters. Sorry for the diversion but sometimes things happen that makes one wonder about larger forces. Next post I will do better.
