KRR should produce over 222,000 ounces in 2024They keep saying that they are going to mine 2 million tonnes of ore from the 2 ramps at Beta Hunt. I think they could exceed the 2 million because ramp #1 has been handling close to 1.3 million tonnes of ore as it is and so ramp #2 just needs to do 700,000 tonnes which should be easily attainable.. So 2 million tonnes ore at a minimum is what KRR will mine out of Beta Hunt.
In 2022 KRR processed about 841,000 tonnes of ore from HGO deposits and I see no reason for them not to be able to do the same in 2024. In 2022 KRR produced almost 55,000 ounces from a net grade of 2.18 g/t.. Krr should be able to produce at least that amount again in 2024.
The mill capacities are at 1.6 million (HGO mill) and 1.2 million at Lakewood for a total combined capacity of 2.8 million tonnes..
So, 2 million tonnes of gold ore from Beta Hunt at a net grade of 2.6 g/t would generate about 167,000 ounces of gold and if you add 55,000 ounces from HGO deposits, you end up with 222,000 gold ounces produced..
If the net grade of Beta Hunt was to be 2.9 g/t , then BH would produce 186,500 ounces and if HGO had a net grade of say 2.5 g/t , then it would produce 67,500 ounces which when added to the 186,500 would give a total gold production of 254,000 ounces...
I am expecting a much better guidance for 2024 than the 170,000-195,000 already given more than a year or two ago... If they don't exceed those numbers, then something is seriously wrong with management...But in any event, we will soon find out what the new 2024 guidance will be...
