RE:RE:Take-over price - possibly a mute topic at this point.I was the one who wrongfully started this $C 8.00 price idea and I apologize. It is a red-herring at this point in time. It is better to focus on a bigger picture.
However, I think that the "facts" that I am interested in are simply:
There were reports of a buyout by RMS - they were vague. RMS halted trading, adding to the speculation that talks were entering the final stages. KRR is still trading, which as MM states is a bit of a wild-west side show.
RMS needs KRR more that KRR needs RMS - from what I am reading into the situation. However, let's call that speculation.
KRR makes no mention of a buyout by RMS, they are just talking about a possible merger, and by their laguage it sounds like a remote possibility.
My opinion is that KRR would be holding out for more than $C 8.00 in a clean take-over, but that is my opinion only.
As MM says in a recent post, RMS is halted till "Monday".
If this is a merger, there is no benefit in acquiring a nickel processing facility. So, synergies appear to be lacking, at least as far as KRR is concerned.
Anyway, I'm signing off. I usually don't get into the weeds of stock dealings and I am not at all an expert in these things.
All the best to all of you,
cleareye.
