According to Shortsqueeze.com KRR has 1.8 million shorts
I am not sure how reliable this website is but it says that KRRGF (Karora) has 1.8 million shares short in the USA trading, not canadian markets.. The average trading volume stateside is about 97,000 shares traded each day... So it would take a minimum of 18.6 days for the shorts to cover if the volume stayed at 97,000 per day..
If gold continues higher and finally breaks out to 2400$ and higher, these KRRGF shorts are going to be in a whole lot of trouble if there not already in big trouble as it is..
There could be a massive spike in the share price of KRR as these shorts might start to panic buy as soon as today..
We'll see in the next days what is going to happen...

The Yahoo site has the average daily at about 58,000. If memory serves, yesterday, which as you know was huge upday for gold, the volume I believe was a measily 33,000.

There have been no SETI reports showing any NCIB buybacks.
