Someone started buying shares this afternoon bumping the share price up. I would be interested in seeing another gold company merger as long as we are treated fairly and still trade on tsx. I think this could only be positive compared to where we are now.

I read some speculation that GFI might be on the hunt. They had a failed attempt about a year and a half ago to acquire Yamana. Recently, Gold Fields said they were now more interested in smaller fish. They have operations in KRR's neck of the woods.

I believe if it was Goldfield they would consume us not combination as per statement reads. I believe the best guess would be Norseman because of business combination with them would make sense. This would definitely change everything fast. If combination with them is possible we would be close to 300 thousand Oz per year. Only question would be is at what cost. If our share price makes big moves ...more

I don't know if the it still exists, but Karora had a sub-lease agreement with GFI on the Beta-Hunt mine. Now that KRR has done all the hard work of unearthing a lot off goodies, GFI may want it back. Either way, we may just have a bidding war in the early stages going on, especially with the gold price co-operating.
