Based on history, really old history, I think Mr. Miller is

going to regret his words of false guidance because countries like Canada, U.S. and Europe may have slightly higher standards for detection...maybe....rest of world does not and infected travel from those parts of the world travel abroad as well.   What happens to the food supply chain when you have to cull beef and dairy cattle herds, herds of pork as seen in millions of chickens and turkeys culled already.   Mr. Miller does NOT have the historical data to make his claim.   Perhaps he should take melting samples of tundra in Canada and Siberia because he wasn't around over 20,000 years ago but Athea of quantum flesh and the other Keepers π were and know exactly what is being thawed out.

Matthew Miller is the director of McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote Institute for Infectious Disease Research. Speaking with CTV News, he was fairly blunt when asked if there’s a risk to the food that Canadians consume.

“No, there’s not,” Miller said. “The agricultural surveillance for bird flu is excellent. It’s always important to follow proper cooking standards, because there’s always other nasty bacteria that can come from beef or chicken, but the (Canadian) standards for processing food protects consumers.”
