BNN today PAST TOP PICK Laurentian Bank(LB-T) 09/11/2022 at 07:00pm   (A Top Pick Oct 28/21, Down 22%) The thesis has yet to work out. New CEO is making changes. A good piece for a larger bank or insurer to take out. Stock's cheap, good upside potential. Happy to hold as a turnaround story. banks   $31.900 Owned

If it's a top pick at 41 bucks, he must be jumping for joy at 30 and change.....  lol.  I am thinking of taking a punt on this though.  I'm sure the big 5 must be kicking the tires.

Good luck, I dont think the big 5 would be interested in LB, maybe an insurance company or Canadian Western Bank but that is sheer speculation on my part.

Just reading the "woke bonds" news release.  It's amazing how wrapped up in ESG they are.  Question is though - when does it become too cheap to ignore? I bought a lot of Wells Fargo last year when the wheels fell off.  Cultures change over time.

I would possibly gamble sub $25 to average down. My FIRED financial advisor told me to by this turd 5 years ago in the high $40. Thank goodness I sold most and bought CIBC & BNS at the Covid lows.
