RE: RE: Shorting

RE: RE: Shorting

No disrespect intended here DEXT3R, I've heard the same song and dance about the "merits of shorting" from a good friend of mine (who plays stocks professionally) about how shorting keeps the market in check and it's legal, it serves as a counter balance to an overheat stock, etc, etc.  In theory I have to agree that he's right and all these are true.

However in real life shorting is now being misused as a means to crash a stock for quick profits.  You can't tell me looking into my eyes and say that this is not happening.  The shorting game is now changed for the "market vultures" from wait and pick off the carcass to why wait, let's make some kills and feed off the victims instead.  I have suspected LEG has been such a victim for sometime.  Of course I can't prove anything, but if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck - I am pretty sure you're looking at a duck.

By the way I never ask my friend if he would get off his high horse on shorting if his major holding stock is the manipulated shorting victim?  That maybe an interesting question.
