LEG Dividend Announcement Could be in the offing, Don't be surprised if there is something mentioned about dividends in the next year end update. Both BMO and CIBC state that LEG could initiate a dividend without any damage to their financials.
At at the year end update we can expect to see the debt reduced to more peer normals and the mention of a potential dividend this year. LEG still trails their peers in this area. Management and the board will realize the greed they are part of and will fall into line with the other oil and gas companies for pure selfish reasons. Quite frankly it can't come fast enough!
I predict the news in this area will be so compelling that it will crush the shorts once and for all.
Slacker, if you really intend to go long you might want to consider doing this before the results announcement. Strong results, talk of a dividend will move the SP to new highs not seen for a very long time. Procrastenators beware.
