list your house.... take the equity out asap. Many layoffs will occur in the next 6 months as companies try and cut costs and capEX.....thus creating a depressed housing market along with lower incomes.
Regardless what happens to LEG, the oil sector in Canada is going to be hit extremely hard, lower prices are here to stay. The $100 WTI prices are gone for short/mid term. LEG and most other oil companies in Canada were even struggling to show profits when they were selling oil at $90+..... what makes you think they can handle $60? All that debt with negative net income, how do you make payments?
People are talking like this is the END for Alberta oil, not so... consolidation will happen, operating costs will fall, prices of WTI/Edmonton par will eventually rebound into the 70's/80's..... just a matter of time and who can handle this stress test.
Don't avg down, a common mistake traders make. wait for WTI to find a proper bottom (hard to know, but we aren't at it yet....)
