Some taking profits here under 5 $

I was a buyer under the 5$ mark as i see no danger of LFE missing distributions here. I know some will be thinking its time to take profits and that i cant disagree with. I am simply making a trade, having sold 4K at  $ 5.08 and bought back 10 cents lower.
Current NAV for the  commons would be around $5.28 as the US lifecos have bounced back a bit and MFC and GWO back into the green makes a big difference.

Nice, play....I added a little more at $5.05....am eagerly waiting for the distribution anouncement. Did that in November....than December...., sadely both missed.  Hopefully third time lucky and off to the races.  The yeild on my cost will be absolutely FANTASTIC.  Hopefully it lasts.... Good Luck Longs....

i got in at $5.01. am i gonna be ok? what's the likelyhood of nav dropping below $5 and missing the div next month?

Well since today is the cutoff and the date they use for calculating distributions , you are very safe for the distribution coming in February. No guarantees tho for the March distribution. Right now there is about 30 cents of coverage above the 15 $ threshhold for paying.

that's good, and always thanks for the live nav updates, i will be following your updates closely, and i noticed you don't do live nav updates on some of the split funds (like GDV, LCS, PWI, RS).. are you planning on doing these in the future? just saying it would be great.

I am in the process of getting a blog /website going. When its done i will try and get more split funds valuations and spreadsheets up and running. Right now  I have about 10 to take care of. However if I set up 15 i could do more NAV udpates  on some that are more popular. But also do some of the less followed ones one time a week. Still working on it, but will let all know.

With the Brompton split funds, the updates  on holdings and their weightings are few and far between,  but they do give NAV updates weekly, so i havent been bothering trying to keep up with  those. LCS is fairly stable in the holdings, but they do adjust weightings quite often. Brompton is very active i have found with DGS, BDIV and GDV for instance... and usually see big changes ...more

Correction...midmonth valuation Tues evening.  Dividend decision and announcement Wednesday
Comment by mouserman on Jan 14, 2022 8:28pm
No i believe the actual announcement will come next week sometime, but they will use the 14th as the date. Have not seen them use a later date unless its close enough to wait for a day or two. LFE UNIT NAV at the close today is $ 15.38 , big finish to the week. LFE  NAV was up 80 cents since dec 31.!

I write down all quadravest's updates.  The midmonth numbers are the 15th at the latest, so this month they will use the 14th, releasing it on the evening of the 18th.  The 18th is decision day for distributions and I cite 2 examples when they surprised us and reversed expectations.   January 2019 FFN paid even though the midmonth was low.  May 2020 BK didn't pay ...more
