FLOAT $386 Mill

FLOAT $386 Mill

How does the size of a companies Shares Floated effect the eventual worth of the company ? Does it really matter much other then Volatility ? I was looking at the board of another company in the Vanadium space where the question was brought up but not much input other then this link https://www.davemanuel.com/2008/02/06/what-is-a-stocks-float-and-why-is-it-important/ which is informative as to the basics I guess.ie... the smaller the float the greater the volatility up and down .

I noticed using Yahoo Finance that Lynas has a very high float of about 1.4 Billion shares and a Market cap to match about $1.47 Billion But Molycorp shows a Float of only 56 Mill shares with a Market cap of over $2 Billion .

Just how important is a companies Float for us thrill seekers looking for a 5-10 bagger with Great Western ?
