RE:RE:RE:RE:Why has management not said a thing?
As a long-term-minded LGORF investor, I don't think it's in my interest for management to immediately attempt to turn around the share price. Assuming they are planning buybacks for June, it's in my interest for the share price to drop and remain as low as possible through as much of the buyback program as possible. That way, they obtain these shares cheaply and my ownership percentage is magnified to a greater extent. Is it scary? Yes. But I've also purchased another bunch of shares as these prices continue to fall, out of the same philosophy. Those of us who've followed Largo for more than two years were very well served by this mindset as the stock dropped down into the 0.30s and below--and our situation was even scarier and more perilous, as the company was in large amounts of net debt and dilution looked constantly. Now we're sitting on a pile of net cash and low prices benefit us where they once stung. Just my thoughts.
