Income Tax

Income Tax

H1 Net Income before Tax = US$23.2M

H1 Income Tax (expense + deferred) = US$7.2M

H1 Net Income after Tax = US$16M

7.2 / 23.2 = 31% tax rate.

Remember the highly-promoted-by-Management Technical Report (dated Dec 2021) which indicated $2.8 Billion Pre-Tax / $2.0 Billion After-Tax NPV7% and $5.8 Billion Pre-Tax / $4.2 Billion After-Tax Life of Mine Cash Flow? Well that Technical Report used the following Income Tax rate for its estimation. Notice the 15.25% rate from 2022 to 2028 (as compared to the 31% currently used by management). How valid is that Technical Report?
