Q2-22 summary: Beating the consensus expectation

After missing expectations for 5 consecutive Qs, this is the first time that Largo delivers stronger-than-expected results. The company clearly beat the consensus expectation in Q2-22 and generally, the sp will rise in response to beating expectations. 

Imho, the only thing we need is an NR announcing the signing of 1 or 2 new battery contracts and the sp will be back to the C$20 range in no time.

Stephen Prince is still the President of Clean Energy Division, isn't he? Q1-22 CC Transcript Leon Cooperman …. Last question. I think your credibility has been hurt by this big battery that we had and so far we've not announced any new battery orders. What's going on there? I don't know. I'm not asking who, but do you expect to have new battery orders in the current year

You are right. In today's NR: The Company also announces the resignation of Stephen Prince as President of LCE. Mr. Prince has decided to pursue other opportunities and the Company’s Board of Directors and management wish him well with his future endeavours. I'm not sure how the market will take this. First Ian Robertson and now Stephen Prince. Not good for Largo's new energy pillar!
