RE:Capital Allocation Funny, I had the same thought today.

The current share price is a gift.

I like buybacks a lot because I am not a dividend investor and am looking for long-term capital gains. I really hate the idea of the share buyback tax of 2% coming into effect in 2024 but its still worth it for Linamar.

As long as Linamar continues allocating capital to the right things, the multiple discount should close over time to reflect that the company is no longer just an auto-parts input provider.
