Re. str8cndian...the property. I as well fished Thunder creek long before any mine was there..Got a few Speckles at the beaver dam area about 1/4 mile down creek from old bridge over creek. There were 2 shafts put down by the old guys ..about 50 ft deep it looked like. Must have been tough guys to accomplish that back in 1913.
The one old shaft was approximately where the new ramp entrance is located...the second shaft was about 150 ft East.
Was fun then roaming the property looking for gold. :-)
