Agreed, I think its about 60-40 in favor of you being correct about gold price...in the last couple of days the US$ index has been down as was the Gold price...this is unusual as the norm is dollar index down... gold up. Also the fed and central bankers have the ability to control price of gold just as they control the dollar or any other fiat currency....IMO the dollar as reserve currency is to big to fail and everything possible will be done to prevent that from happening.  The USA is almost 17 trillion in debt yet the Dollar is still a strong World reserve fiat currency, IMO any country that has their countries value in US dollar would not want the dollar to fail...at least not an uncontrolled failure.   So for the time being other countries will support the Dollar. ??

I doubt that Lakeshore will disapear any time soon as they do have 2 operating mines, infastructure in place, and they do have a lot of gold.  One thing that is very encouraging is that many of the world central banks are buying gold ...maybe some sort of a gold standard in future?  I believe that when the Euro was first established it had in place 30% gold backing, could be wrong on this..Next few weeks will be scary...at least for me.

Goldcorp and Barrick were down big yesterday...they are up today??
