Hey sparky, you hit the nail on the head.  As an industrial electrician you say that "cranking up the feed wouldnt work and that the motors that drive the equipment will shut down if you overload them".  Thats very interesting because lakeshore is currently using the same ball mills with the same motors that they had when they were feeding 2000 tons per day.  Apparently the mills havent shut down since lakeshore claims to be feeding 2500 tons a day.   So either the mills were underutilized at 2000 tons per day, which I doubt, or they are spending a ton of money to pre-crush the ore finer before they feed it to the primary ball mill.  If thats the case why did they delay the new crushing and grinding circuit to next year?  Is it a cash flow problem?  Something doesnt smell right.
