Re. Idlefreebird...

Re. Idlefreebird...

Was about to say something like that myself...I spent 32 years at INCO on the maintenence side of things and extreme cold is always big problem times...out side conveyors freeze up, busted water lines, I remember a couple of times the water gauge glass freezing up on the furnace waste heat boilers,  And any wet muck stored outside can stay that way till spring thaw...does Lakeshore have their indoor muck storage completed yet? I think I see in picture of mill area the footing for round building  not sure how old picture is.  I know at INCO we had a number of these heated..  A couple of times I remember muck freezing up in the skip dump   a bit of powder helped with this problem... I'm sure there are many here who have not worked around a mine which explains some of the statements.  IMO Lakeshore has done a good job in a few short years with mine infastrusture.
