Idlefreebird,looking at the RBC positive comments following their visit to the LSG site ,they estimate a remaining mine life of 8 years for the Timmins West mine complex and only 4 years for the upper ramp acces portion of the Bell Creek mine.
We see by the drilling result shown in your last posting that  there is a great potential deeper with very good ore  grade at Bell Creek .
In my mind we know for sure that the ''real solution''would be the construction of a new hoisting
 shaft going deeper but they can afford to buit it for now.
In the mean time ,extending tthe ramp under the 700 or so  is a necessity but as you have said before it is quite a laborious task to bring ore at  surface from the level they are operating...so going deeper is not going to be easier.
Let's see what Tony will do!!
But for now, me may say that we are in a much better position than we were a year ago.
