Lorn...that is one heck of a good read. What I take away from this read is that the USA is holding gold price down to prop the dollar. Russia and other BRIC countries are exporting oil and other goods to the west for inflated US dollars. The BRIC nation use the US dollars to buy all the gold they can get their hands on at bargin basement prices. It is a win win and checkmate for putin....go figure
