I love how the bid at the closing bell is .85 yet ask is .87 and it some how closes at .85

The reason it closed at 85 cents is that there was a Sell imbalance of 28K shares of LSG on the Market on Close (MOC) orders on the TSX. This means that on market close the majority of orders placed were sell orders at the highest bid price of 85 cents at the time. Figured there was a legitimate explanation. I don't fully understand it and my ßullsh!t meter tells me it gets used to gain some sort of advantage when used right. (Or wrong, depending how you want to word it) Similar to how almost a year ago when the price was approx .25 and yet it closed at our lowest of low at .16 This definitely isn't a hate post. I don't hate the player. I

mac, i don't know how to play the game but i picked up 10,000 of those 0.85 shares at close to add to my hoard.  really could care less if they go to $0.16 again - i'll let you know how this trade works out in 15 years when I plan to sell this stock.  global financial system is too messed up for gold not to appreciate in my investment horizon, IMO   gltals...
