The Speculator said buy three times between Feb. 1, 2005, and Oct. 2, 2006, at prices ranging from $11.45 to $29.70. On Jan. 2, 2007, it said sell some -- sell half, perhaps -- at $43. The newsletter then said sell the remaining half at $13.69 on Aug. 8, 2007. Selling the remaining investment ($1,500 cost) at $13.69 yielded a profit of $1,621. The Speculator then said buy seven more times between Dec. 22, 2017, and June 23, 2021, at prices ranging from $5.46 to $8.39. Assuming seven investments of $1,000, the $7,000 position is worth $9,197.
