MEG Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company focused on in-situ thermal oil production in the southern Athabasca oil region of Alberta, Canada. The Company is engaged in the development of enhanced oil recovery projects that utilize steam-assisted gravity drainage extraction methods to improve the economic recovery of oil. It transports and sells thermal oil (AWB) to customers throughout North America and internationally. The Company owns a 100% interest in over 410 square miles of mineral leases in the southern Athabasca oil region of Alberta, Canada and is primarily engaged in sustainable in situ thermal oil production at its Christina Lake Project. Christina Lake Project is a multi-phased project, located 150 kilometers south of Fort McMurray in northeast Alberta. It comprised of approximately 200 square kilometers of leases.

RE:buy meg shares.... you got to be stupid....LOLHAHAHA your math is awesome... but if they had no debt at all... that would be pretty crazy... 

they have the Access Pipeline stake which is 1.4 to 1.6 per Devon sale... maybe more or les... But that wipes down the debt load pretty quickly.... for at least to mid 2020s... not sure your assessment s correct. They have massive leverage to oil price.... if someone buys the quity for 2x what it is at the sale of the pipelilne does one of two things lowers the debt or funds the purchase price... 

Your assessment is way to dire... the truth is they offer good leverage to an oil price recoevry. this is a wti proxy... debts will be kicked dowb and renegotiated.. ..
