Getting held hostage

Getting held hostage
I am getting tired of being held hostage by certain groups in Canada.  I have worked on numerous reserves in my career and can say one thing, they are not about the environment but about money.  I have seen garbage thrown out the backdoor all winter due to laziness, large trucks and snowmobiles being driven burning through gas/diesel, setting grass on fire during the Spring to kill grass which usually ends up as a forest fire (they also get paid as firefighters once the fire starts), overfishing and selling to outsiders which is against the spirit of the treaties and last but not least, not afraid to cash cheques from the government.  This whole situation needs a solution fast or we will be held hostage for generations due to "reconciliation".  I had a guy in a workgroup tell us how upset he was that his grandfather was in a residential school.  My grandparents left the Ukraine due to war, travelled across two contintents, took a boat to a new country, travelled halfway across a new country and then had to find jobs to survive while having to learn a new language.  Guess what, we all have issues and if we don't move forward in life, we might as well close down the country and all just get together in big pity party.
