RE:What To Do

RE:What To DoI have been a long time holder of Mfc also and it's been a terrafic run for the last 5 weeks taking it from $19 to over 25$ today.  I own 5,000 shares and I looked back and collected over 25k in dividend since holding Mfc in 2008 so it's not bad.  For me personally, I've been holding this for almost 8 years going nowhere so it doesn't make sense to completely sell off after one month of gain despite how spectacular it has been.  But Mfc is getting to be a too high percentage of my porfolio so I will sell about 1,000 shares to bring it back in line.  I don't know what short term will be like, but I know in another 8 years from now, it will be much higher and in the meantime, I will continue to collect the dividend.  I have already trimmed my position in mining stock (Teck, First Quantum) as well as US banks as they were also too high percentage of my portfolio.
