Just off hour long CC with the CEOBottom line is they expected breakthrough to be achieved but the copper sulphate (the stuff you want) gets gummy until the ph level is low enough. That caused issue with the extraction pumps. After fighting it a bit they decided to f it and make it reversible. Essentially they can work their way out in establishing the right ph level throughout. It's unfortunate that they didn't start with reversible out of the starting gate but it's not a hard fix and very early days. At least the copper is dissolving nicely. One big takeaway for me was that they are sharing notes with Florence who are a year ahead. Apparently they had similar issues and similar solutions and it's working very well now. This year is all about optimization anyhow. I feel fine (now).
