It`s all about AISC...

I think the share price depends on the effort of mangement to optimize the costs of the project in the direction layed down in PFS.
IF they really mangaged to achieve AISC 1,23 THEN the share price will be way above 2 cdn. As a "green copper project" it will be an attractive take over candidate too. The timing could come together with copper at 4 ....maybe a perfect world ??!!

With stating the producer status (expected before year end) there is a good chance to break out of the resistance area 1,17-1,23 (intrady high) and reach the old highs of 1,50.

The 1,5 level will be only broken with good news in the area of optimization IMHO!

From what I recall the main shareholder owns almost a large chunk of the shares which is essentially a  controlling interest.   Absolutely  no takeover of the company can happen unless they decide to sell. Considering that they have held on through good and bad times for a number of years I don't see them changing their minds in the foreseeable future, especially when the future ...more

I have met with Michael Haworth from Greenstone and Sr. Management on multiple occasions. My feeling is that for the right fair price it's for sale. Like anything...That said they are patient and in no hurry while trying to maximize that fair value.

Michael Haworth is a director of Min and also a Managing Partner of Greenstone Resources which owns over 47% of the outstanding shares of Excelsior.  Greenstone is a private equity company which says it is in for the long haul so I wouldn't expect any reduction of its interest just yet. Perhaps it may in a year or two when, hopefully, Min is a  mature copper producer. It will be ...more
