RE:NAV surging back up MMP.un at a big discount to NAV

Some nice movers in the precious metals again today, however a few moving lower in the MMP.un holdings as well. Osisko Royalties up over 7.4% today alone at current pricing...I mentioned Newgold ...more

Nice move up in 90% of the stocks in MMP.un this am... will be interesting to see the changes in the holdings. Not sure if they can take profits in ARTG, if there was a 4 month hold on the financing ...more

miners sell off while GOLD holds above 1900$ US

And that is with the USD complex gaining..... so really gold did NOT go down.. and silver is actually up on the day one penny. Not sure i can understand the selling in the miners, unless its the ...more

Was surprised to see MMP.un gain about 1.26 % yesterday and PME 's gains were under 1%... both funds basically went up just less than 4 cents. SO it is quite obvious there are now some differences ...more

Apparently PME was the better buy yesterday...

PM closed at 3.19 up  12 cents today, or 3.9%... MMP.un meanwhile managed a 2 penny gain, and less than 1 %... Both have nearly identical portfolios, and each had a gain of about 1.5% today, and ...more

Mouserman, If the fund manager increased the monthly distribution to $0.015 per month from the current penny, the annual yield would move up to 7.5% from the current 5.06%. All that would take is ...more

Been following this one and PME for a long time, and with the NAV at over 2.68 for MMP.un, the discount to NAV is the biggest it has been for quite some time. Last sale was 2.37 makes the discount ...more

MMP.un NAV @ 2.97 to Sept 17

SO basically the NAV eked out a small gain,  even tho spot silver and gold  ( paper) were batted down yesterday. 31 cents discount to NAv now has MMP.un over 10 % discounted, and actually ...more

SO yesterday NAV was stated as 2.9615 so the NAV  was up again, but MMP.un down again.  Today i also have the NAV rising a bit as the biggest holdings were mostly up....ARTG, KNT ,Pretium ...more

NAV was up $0.1442 yesterday, would have to assume that much of the cash position was put to good use in early September ... ??? MMP.UN continues to trade at a discount ... current bid $2.69 ask $2 ...more
