Assuming the value of the new shares to be $1 - $1.25, I would say even the latter is a pretty decent jump. But my position is and always has been that the size of the pizza doesn't change based on how many slices you cut it into.
If you have 5 dimes and you trade them in for 2 quarters, you will have fewer coins but the same amount of money.
Progress on the project is what will drive the value up... and fortunately for us progress is being made.
