Skinner bought another 100,000 today.

What does it say to investors that an insider sets his buy prices lower than the last placement?

Todays purchase was at $0.18

On the one hand, he is supporting the stock and definitely accumulating but the optics on sitting on the bid lower than the last placement is pretty pizz poor.

At least put in the support and accumulate at the placement level to indicate the placement price was a good deal and a base from which share appreciation would take place.

I guess when you know there is a whole bunch of $0.075 paper out there, holding the line at $0.20 isn't palatable even for an insider?

Sure, you want to get cheap paper into the hands of a market awareness team but wasn't that done at $0.075 and then $0.20 .......... how much more cheap paper transfer has to take place whereby an uptick in the share price would be intiated by the group.

Call FAT whatever you want, the ticker has moved up significantly on solid volume and it is holding.

MNO peeps don't seem to have a clue on how this is done.

And I guess you get pissed off when an insider cashes in warrents at below the current S/P or when an insider sells any stock at more that he paid? Skinner owned shares before coming on board and his wife had a bundle from the first PP. Maybe she handles the investment portfolio for the two of them? If the guy willingly overpays, do you really want him on the B.O.D.??? He's been in the ...more

TFSAfunds, if $0.20 is considered overpaying ............what does it say for the future? Insiders can sell at whatever price they like just like the rest of us, don't be a dumb dumb and conflate unrelated things. Optics boy optics. Of course he knows what he is doing. He is placing bids below the last placement price and someone is filling his boots with their paper. Nothing wrong with it ...more

"So who the f'ck is blowing out paper? Good question."  The 20¢ paper isn't even in play yet... gotta wait til April 22nd. But let's think about this, there were almost 47 million shares at 7½¢ that were saleable as of Nov. 17, 2020 and the same number of warrants at 11¢. That's almost 95 million opportunities to make money... that's ...more

TFSAfunds, yes , it must be in the money paper, that makes sense. Although, I thought all that paper went to strong hands. The kind of hands that believed in Cabacal's potential. Don't be offended by "dumb dumb" you big dummy ! Just playing on Freddie "the gorilla" Sanford kind of humour. Hey, I like this ........... you're defending the company and its board of ...more

Freddie... problem is, Cabacal was unknown to everyone during that first offering. (Well, except for the insiders.) PP was closed July 15th and Cabacal was only announced Aug. 26th. Like yourself, others here probably want to get some of their investment back. Restructures like Sentient offered don't happen very often and I think many viewed those cheap shares as a golden opportunity to flip ...more

TFSAfunds, why should the stock price be heading to $0.30 right now? For the same reason issuers like FAT are able to move their price. Agreed, this company has never been able to capture that aspect of the TSX Venture phenom. The corporation has had all kinds of success in the corporate restructuring department ............ it's high time they do something in the "moving the market ...more
