Since 1969, Bruno has advised private industry and government clients on corporate law in the energy and natural resources sectors. He retired from the partnership in 2003 and now acts as a consultant.
In the mid-1990s Bruno was senior counsel for the Western Australian Commission on Government. He is the deputy chairman of United Group Limited and a non-executive director of LinQ Capital Limited.
Bruno is an active participant in many Western Australian community groups and foundations. In 2008 he was appointed a member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (Queen’s Birthday 2008 Honours List). He is a patron of United Way (WA) Inc and President of the Board of Governors of Meerilinga Young Children’s Foundation Inc.
