Maple Minerals Corp (TSX-V:MPM) Shares Issued 31,525,633 Last Close 10/13/2005 $2.70 Friday October 14 2005 - News Release Mr. Sheldon Inwentash reports MAPLE MINERALS CORP. CHANGES NAME TO MEGA URANIUM LTD. Maple Minerals Corp. has changed its name to Mega Uranium Ltd. In connection with the name change, Mega Uranium has received a new trading symbol on the TSX Venture Exchange -- MGA. The company will commence trading under its new name and symbol effective at the opening on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005. Each certificate evidencing common shares of the company will continue to evidence common shares of Mega Uranium without further action by shareholders. Shareholders approved the name change at the special meeting of shareholders held on Oct. 6, 2005. No consolidation of capital occurred in connection with the name change. The new CUSIP number for the common shares of Mega Uranium is No. 58516W104. As part of the name change, Mega Uranium has also issued the 150,000 common shares to an arm's-length third party, as set out in its new reported in Stockwatch on July 27, 2005, subject to a four-month hold period expiring on Feb. 14, 2006.
