nobody is talking much about gahcho kue. it is really a non issue. the mveird is just humming along doing its thing.
the iceroad is the mnext big event on the social calander. the mackenzie river iceroad is already open. the iceroad to the mines should be open friday.
as for long distances, I drove from yellowknife nt to boulder city nv once. we went thru colorado and (if i remembr corectly) the highway snakede over the rocky mountain divide 4 times in one afternoon.
I also drove back and forward several times between st johns nl to victoria bc.
Of all the places i been, i like labrador and duplissis district in quebec best.
