DEAD MONEY ALTERNATIVE

We now know that MPVD is DEAD MONEY for at least the next three years - perhpas four while every penny goes to paying Desmond's high priced debt. Desmond's holding a Saturday Night Special to the collective heads of all the other MPVD minority shareholders - vote for my egregiously expensive debt or I'll push this company into CCAA and take the asset. Who wants to be part of this stick-up?

Here's an attractive alternative - Labrador Iron Ore (T.LIF) which pays an 11% dividend and offers significant share price appreciation opportunity as iron ore prices climb with end of zero Covid in China and start of US Infrastaructure spending.

Simple choice: stay with MPVD and get zero dividend and watch share price drop to 10c, OR buy LIF and get immediate 11% dividend and see share price climb by at least 10%. Only a dilusional idiot would stay invested in MPVD.

The only other idiot on here besides diamond boy is you.  What the f... does iron ore have to do with rough diamonds ????    MPVD is a speculation for people that want to  buy an asset that could be worth a billion dollars and is valued a bit over 100 million.   Thats why its trading for .50 cents .   Its a possibility of a 10 bagger .  You buy what you can ...more

I am a bit confused by your post to put it mildly. The current mine plan goes to end 2030. There is the new Hearne pipe found, all the Kennady assets and Tuzo deep to be incorporated into the mining plan in due course. Mark Wall, who is mpvd ceo, has stated publicly they are in discussions with De Beers to extend the mining life and incorporating these assets into it. This could easily add another ...more

Power -  I suggest you have a closer look at the March 2022 technical report. Yes, the current mine life runs to 2030 but there is next to zero production in 2030, so practically speaking the life is to 2029. However, from next year they start processing Tuzo ore which is both lower grade and lower value. 2024 is an absolutely grim year when it's mostly low grade Tuzo ore - about 1 c/t ...more

I would suggest you also go into mountain province website and download presentation mountain province made at a mining conference last week. It clearly says that there is a big improvement in 2024 life of mine figures and about the options to extend the life of mine. My clear understanding is that De Beers are working with mpvd management team to incorporate Kennady assets into an extended life ...more
