RE:Let's "Warren Buffett" this stockI think your analysis is probably correct which is diappointing for those seeking some true value reflection now. The only game changer to that is if there is a deal with De Beers announced on Kennady Lands/Hearne in the short term or a refiance in the short term that would refinance bonds on favourable terms and fast forward some dividend payments.
While some may be nay sayers on the board(and i dont knock them), I do believe that most analysts are broadly positive on the Macro position- China reopening, overall diminshing Rough Supply, further Russian Sanctioning and a still buoyant US market.
On the Micro level MPVD have maintained 2023 Guidance, and given their view production will improve as Q1 issues are behind them.
I've almost given up on short term shareprice appreciation but the future Cashflow thesis is very much intact. The Balance Sheet turn around is well under way, an extension of life of Mine is imminent . Sometimes shareprice takes a while to follow but no investor can argue that we made 30% of the Market Cap in Q1 alone and the real net Debt to EBITDA is less than 1:1. I would argue thats a fairly unique investment opportunity for the right investor. Problem is there seems to be a lot of historic investors have been burnt so badly they are naturally cautious here- But if they invested at 2,3 or even 4 dollars now is the time to double down.
Good luck to all.
