Dividend and Who's calling the Shots ?

The Dividend can stay at this level for the next quarter. They can then in Q1 2017 look at adjustments. I for one like getting the dividend every month and is a positive in that they can still pay it, while others have cut completely. As to who calls the shots ? The last time I checked the 2 PE backers own 70% of the shares which make them majority owners of the company and have a say in the company. This I look at as a positive as they are their for the income stream and are thinking long term. They can help with future financing if need be to grow the business. You are right in one thing and that is if you are looking at short term or day trading this is not the stock for you. The other big positive is when the Banks stop lending as they did with Twin Butte Energy- cut their credit line and were forced into Bankruptcy. Northern can borrow from its PE backers who have deep pockets as lender of last resort. It's a partnership the Private Equity is looking for a passive regular income stream and will leave day to day for management.
