RE:swedish covidYup. it's a virus. You cannot stop a virus with a piece of cotton over your face or a distance of 2m.
The virus is 1/ 300 smaller than sperm. cotton condoms will not work (despite whether lubed or not... ask Bog-fit.) The virus travels on air (aeresol) for up to 30m. It last up to 72 hours on stainless steel. Yes, high quality masks help in going into hospital where the weak and aged are. You could have everyone wear high level hazmat suits but it really wouldn't help overall. It is about bodily health. The weak, old, sick, unhealthy and overly fat with numerous health issues are at risk of death. Fact is, sad as it sounds, it is only for modern medical science that many of them have had their lives extended. The only thing Proven to have some effect is 5000 iu or so of absorbable vitamin D per day. The D helps surviveability and helps to have lesser serious symptoms. So, in summation, virus exist; this is a bad one; the bs we are doing is hurting muliples more people than the virtue signal methods that are being employed.
When we did not know what it was in Feb a ball of fear was understandably let loose. Politicians, drug companies and health authority figures got behind and pushed it like a snowball heading down hill. It gained momenum such that no paid official could risk jumping in front of it to stop it because they would be run over with blame for killing Granny or the fat weaser at the next desk. So now they wait for a vaxcine...not because it is needed, and not because it will actually do much that isn't happening already, but (unconsciously or consciously) they know they need it as an excuse to walk back the insanity without suffering the wrath of people like bog-fit

I look at the math publishedand draw some conclusion.
Sweden population. 10 million.
Infections confirmed.200 thousand
Deaths. 6 thousand
Of those 3% have died.
dec 2018 to feb 2019 had sweden report 14 thousand lab confirmed flu cases with 4% dieing. I will guess that a full year and the norm of not going to doc with the flu would up the symptomatic numbers to 140 thousand.
I believe that would make death rate about .4% of symptomatic cases or less.
So now compare to covid 10 month infection. A bit higher but much more testing including nonesymptomatic people. So my guess is about the same rate for covid infection as flu.
The death rate is where the disparity comes in. My best guess is flu death per infection about .4 percent verses 3% of covid total including nonsymptomatic.
So apples to apples my guess is death rate per covid symptomatic infection 10 times higher than flu.
The other thing that is manifesting is that those that survive worse symptoms have lasting health problems.
That us my math:))
