I’ve never quite understood exactly what audience Agnew was trying to impress with his alliteration. I guess he was hitting to those who respond to simple sounds and jingles – You know like “stop the seal” (local thing in Sana Cruz). But here’s some more quotes you can steal from that crook as needed.
Perhaps the place to start looking for a credibility gap is not in the offices of the Government in Washington but in the studios of the networks in New York!
