What makes you think they (the anonymous they) have any more insight into the future than the rest of us? Well, their web sites says they do. Isn’t that enough? But we have no idea what factors they analyzed nor the weight given to each.
They forecast gold to rise about 10-12% over the next four years. However, that can only happen if the USD loses a similar amount in relationship to the USDX. Important to remember that gold is not consumed, gold is not responsive to supply/demand, so how would one expect the U.S. economy to decline with all the rah-rah excitement for copper consumption by western consumers?
We could be looking at $3,000 POG in no more than two years from today - depending on the weather.
