Financing update thoughts

"The Company is engaged in active and ongoing discussions with its key financing partners with respect to a substantial funding package for the restart and ramp-up of the Underground Mine (as an alternative to the smaller financing package referred to in the Company’s July 4, 2022 press release which is no longer being pursued in that form)."

So, who are the company's key financing partners? The biggest one is  Pala, owning about 37% of the company. The big long term lender is kfw, the German development bank. Others include the banks that did the financing last December. Finally there were the two mining investors that bought in last December. Assuming they do not want to sell shares at this level, what makes most sense is another $50 million from kfw. That would be a huge win for retail investors.

very positive words 'substantial....alternative to the smaller package from july 4' July 4 was an extra 50M + 20M previously commited. my guess is substantial is 2X or more, so 100-140M.  if it is kfw, huge win. I wish they would have twlked about dyke remediation

bonds/bank loans.  avoid dilution and get cash flow+, then work on getting $ for OP, ideally. creating another 300M shares, not a win.

No, dilution is not a "win" for retailer, but it is a possiblity.  Seems one of our remaining long-term pumpers and underwater shareholders has taken to once more promoting NCU in unrealistic terms. We don't know what we don't know. b.

Yes wc. They have many headings for development. They have a plan and are obviously through the dyke. When they start the mill, they want to be doing 5000 tons per day. I suspect kfw and friends will do about 200 million u.s. My guess is also that the drill on open pit found mega mineral. So entire property will be fast tracted. That is my hope, as well as my guess:)) nf

They are stockpiling stope ore for high grade milling. They will stockpile low grade developement ore for down line. They likely need 50 million just to get through the poor rock going to se stopes. nf

Thanks for answering.  Just found that on the website.  It said they are still in feasibility studies for the open pit mine, but they are also fully permitted (that seems odd to me).  However info on the website seems dated.  I assume the feasibility is done or close to it.  Then they need financing to do the build--crusher, plant, trucks, etc.  looking for a timeline

That is interesting.  Found several articles on the project based upon your comment.  What I found most interesting were the brief comments about a "electric fleet" which I assume is mining vehicles. Barrrik (Nev Gold) has annunced 20 solar farms for their mines/distriks.. they are not talking about  couple windmills..   currently - ABX has not designated the sites -- lest' they'them' get sued by thaat whak job over in reno - save nevada foundation..  he uses in federal court nd makes a pretty great mess..  Fast 41/Ruling due out in aug/sept will halt

I am the same place.  If they can make solar and an electric fleet work financially, fine with me. In an ideal world electric vehicles should be more cost efficient.  Just turn a profit, however that might work.
