that answers wabuska...  apparently they have more han one diversion point and its not being land applied to the perrin farm onion traks..

w/o looking..  iwould suspect that NPDES Permits are requierd. The water is collected into a basin and then diverted into a channel(creek) and is controlled by the yearington water distrik..

 

battle montain also has a distrik… conroldthe newmont phoneix copper N goldmine… the water floods a water plain and is considered a direct discharge to groundwater…

 

3500 acre feet.. and the mine is only worth a dime…
