It comes down to payback time

if they put in a 65 thousand tpd op and copper hits 20 thousand cad. Per ton as much predicted, then pay back is 3 years on a 5 billion investment.

options expire around the 15/18.. all options expire in Sept same time period… it is logical that the reds and abx will short 2 blow up the LME.. and I mean like the hunt brothers on steroids when they cornered 15% 195,000 open interest around 20,000 tone CtX ?
